I seem to lack the ability to finish projects recently. Somehow, before I complete one, I have another two on the needles. I am so easily lured by the call of a new pattern, and different yarns. Presently, I fantasize about Clapotis.
Somehow, the monogamy and steadfastness that I pride myself on in my personal and professional relationships doesn't apply to hobbies. I am a knitting jezebel.
That, or I simply hate weaving in ends and seaming, and blocking, and just about any sort of finish work. In fact, the only real thrill I get from project at the end, is the ability to gift it...and knowing my needles are now free to begin a new project.
GET YOUR BRAG ON:
My friend has finished Simply Marilyn. It's amazing. Check her out.

Juls! Thanks for the props on my Simply Marilyn. I'm blushing. :) I love her.
I finished Clapotis tonight! She's blocking right now. I'll post pictures this weekend. That makes only 1 project on the needles right now. I'm so obsessive that I can't stand to have things unfinished for too long. But the good thing about having a lot going on is that if you get tired of one thing, you can always obsess about something else for awhile. I think I've decided to rip out the alpaca fluffy cuff mittens I only have one of done and use the yarn for something else. It's so pretty and soft, and I don't think I'm going to wear these mittens.
