I've never really been a very domestic type, nor a very tidy person. But for my wonderful grandmother, I never would've learned to knit...clearly that was nurture at its finest.
I've one more week of work at the firm, and I've been slaving to transition my clients.
Then it hit me, I'm about to be home for 10 weeks. Good grief. I know nothing about babies and being home. I've always worked or been in school. I hate to gendertype, but essentially, I am like most guys, except that I probably cook a lot more and have nicer shoes.
So I have been calling and emailing other stay at home moms like crazy to get a crash course on nipples, bottles, cleaning supplies and other assorted things I need for the boy. I was literally paralyzed at the Target the other day trying to figure out if I needed breast milk bags or if I should store the milk in bottles instead. Good thing the continuation of the human race does not depend on me.
