but lots of knitting happening. I started this Debbie Bliss raglan sweater from the Baby Knits book today:
except that I am using Bernat Cotton Tots on US9 needles as a sub instead of the called for Cashmerino Aran. It's a pretty speedy knit so far but I always dread seaming up all the pieces after.
Am also nearly completed with a top down raglan for toddlers from the Cabin Fever folks. The pattern is pretty straight forward for everything except the armholes. Normally when I knit bottom up, there is a bit on whether or not you need to "break yarn" to get to the armholes. With a total silence on what to do, I just took it on faith and put the stitches on holders. We'll find out later if I royally screwed it up!!
One small problem with the top down raglan. I'm using Knitpicks Crayon and it is has wayyyy more ease than most yarn and so the thing is HUGE! I meant to knit the 2 year old size but it is more like a 6 year old size now. *sigh* So much for me hoping that Caleb could wear it this winter!!!
