My cousin is having a baby girl! We're all pretty excited.
When I was a new mom, I was totally fuddled by the onesies that required you to get it over the baby's head. Uh, no. I used those side snap shirts instead. It was way waaaaay easier until BigHeadBoy could lift his own head.
But I found a lovely pattern from SockPixie so here is my modified version.
Yarn: Cotton Ease
Pattern: Sock Pixie's Le Petit Trianon
Sock Pixie uses a chunky yarn and a pretty ribbon. Since my cousin lives in San Diego, I had to go with a cotton blend yarn (and of course, machine washable). When I got to the ribbon part, I started to get a little confused on how the wrap ties would go since her pattern didn't explain--guess I just am clueless and need lots of detail!!
So I made wraps like a shirtwrap dress, with one long strap. I am still debating on whether to go with the knit ones or to get some ribbon. I love ribbon but I couldn't decide on a color.
