I agree that for things so small as baby knits, they seem to require an awful lot of work! I just made a very simple sweater for a friend's new granddaughter, and it took me as long as an adult-sized item!! Your booties and the kimono are lovely though!!

Thanks for your shoe recommendations! I have some danskos, but they're black and therefore hot right now, but my Keens are seeing a LOT of action!!


The bootie is very cute. I hate weaving in all those ends for something so tiny . I also also have an Embellish-knit and it is super nifty, the only thing I don't like is it won't do ribbon, or anything bulkier than worsted (and some worsted doesn't work, it gets all caught in the hooks). As long as you are using anything smaller, it is the best thing ever....
