Yes, after 4 months, I finally got around to finishing my second practice sock. The kitchener stitch (grafting a toe) has been conquered. The socks are Patons merino wool, 3x1 ribbing on size 6 needles, fit like a dream and are super warm. Hopefully some nice Mongolian person will enjoy them as I think they are suited more for Dulaan than for California climate.
As Ann pointed out, socks do look rather flaccid until worn.
Congrats on the first pair. You'll treasure them until you knit your next pair! I still have mine and wear them often. You did a great job. Hope you like you dye buddy yarn!

Handknit socks do seem sorta lifeless until there are actual feet in them. I've cast on for the second Crusoe sock, knit one row and there I've been for several days now. :)

Great job! I wear my heavy socks in the winter at night.
