Some things got done in time:
Some things are looking dubious as to a Christmas finish date:
The washcloth is the Breast Cancer Awareness Cloth pattern by Donna Burgess in Lily Sugar 'n Cream on size 8 needles.
The bottle next to the cloth is Scharffenberger champagne. I like the chocolate so I figured what the heck and bought the champagne for New Year's brunch.
Laura's socks? Her husband suggested I give her one now and one for her birthday next September!
Wow, I was just going to ask if that was chocolate wine! So how does the chocolate enter into it? At all?

Nevermind, I found this from the Sacramento Bee:
John Scharffenberger christened his chocolate business Scharffen Berger to avoid potential copyright problems stemming from his sale of his winery, named Scharffenberger Cellars, in the mid-1990s.

Hey girl,
I like the socks!
I made it through the power outage with your recommendation of sushi and corona! ;-)
Hope Cal enjoyed Christmas, and you did too!
