Yes, I really have been knitting. Just not really blogging. Remember the twins and their April birthdays? I knit vests for them last year. This year I was more ambitious. I designed these perfect for California weather short-sleeved hoodies for them.
Introducing the MonkeyBoy Hoodie:
One MonkeyBoy:
and then my BigHeadBoy to model them:
and then of course, he needed his own: Three MonkeyBoys...
The ones for the twins were done with Rowan All Seasons Cotton on size 9 needles. A very fast knit, although I had some guesswork on the hoods. The orange one for BigHeadBoy is made of Lion Cotton-Ease, the old one in Orange-ade on size 8 needles. A little of the Rowan ASC for his contrast color.
These are adorable! BigHeadBoy looks so sweet in his. Great knits.

Sooo, since you're all experienced in baby knitting and I have barely unpacked my needles since my move, why don't you knit a sweater for my nephew and I'll give it to him (no mention of who knit it of course) for Christmas. Thanks, I'll pick it up from you when I'm in San Fran for my marathon in October! :)
