More cricket love

Mountain colors bearfoot with some Frogtree merino alpaca yarn on a 10 dent reed. Very lacy drapey fabric.

Loved the yarn but it crocked!! Had to dowse it with vinegar to stop the bleeding.

Luckily, that worked. Whew.

I (heart) my Schacht cricket loom!

Things are going smoothly! This puppy was easy to put together and I warped directly on with no problems.

Warp here is Bearfoot Mountain Colors and some soft Frogtree alpaca merino.

Weaving - I never thought it would be easy, but I never thought it could go this badly either.

No shed:

I keep separating with a needle, it's killing me.

Oh, and all that separating is causing the strands to go wonky, so now when I beat down, it isn't straight:

And did I mention that one of my warp strings broke and I don't know how to fix it despite reading 3 different sets of instructions multiple times?
